The Platform is a independent retailer based in the old railway station premises in Macduff, Scotland offering a unique shopping experience through both product and location.

Our buyers are constantly striving to source new and exciting products from local artists to European and international manufacturers  to offer our valued customers that something different.

The premises have a history dating back to 1872 and every effort has been made to keep the character of the old station whilst expanding the retail operation as we value our local heritage 

We have old photographs on display showing the station as it was so there is something if interest for the non shopper too

It is the perfect place to spend a few hours treating yourself to something new from our ladies,men, home and gift departments and catching up over lunch or coffee and cake while enjoying spectacular Moray Firth views and maybe even spotting a dolphin or two
